The day before we went to LegoLand we went to The Hinds Head in Bray, which is one of Heston Bluementhal’s restaurants.

I ordered an Apple juice to drink, whilst we looked at the menu.
For starters I had a Scotch Egg, when I cut inside, the yolk was really nice and runny.

For my main course I had a cottage pie which was really delicious.

We also got some sides to share which were a heritage tomato salad, smoked green beans and buttered carrots.

For dessert I had an elderflower sorbet and some cheesecake and we shared a cheeseboard.

When we got the bill they brought us dark chocolate orange and caraway seed truffle.
When we were waiting to leave we were talking to the man behind the bar, who gave us some of Heston’s special chocolates which looked like stones- I thought he was tricking us and making us eat stones but they were really nice chocolates!

I really enjoyed going to The Hinds Head and would love to go again.
It’s the best restaurant I’ve ever been to!

You really are very lucky Dillon to visit such a lot of these brilliant restaurants and having the top chefs cook for you.All the dishes looked delicious,cottage pie is one of my favourites.
It’s no wonder you thought you were going to eat stones as they are very realistic,but a nice surprise for you to find out they were chocolate.xx
